When we got our cell phones last year, they had a camera on them. Well, we just now bought a special cable that allows us to download the photos. Jon just downloaded his photos a couple of weeks ago. Here are some assorted pics, some rather recent, some as late as last year...enjoy!

Let's Try This Again

So, I've pretty much fallen off of the radar screne with my lack of postings. It's been about 9 months. I really don't know why. I guess I felt as if I didn't have much of anything interesting to say. Really, I didn't think anyone would be interested in what was going on in my life. It's pretty mundane- same 'ol, same 'ol. But after leaving a comment on a friend's blog in which she was reevaluating why she blogged and if anyone really cared, I wrote something to the effect of "yes, people care, I care. It's a great way to stay in touch and connected. It's like a Christmas letter, only in short bursts throughout the year. It lets people know about you and your family." So, my own comments to my friend re-sparked my passion for blogging about my and my family's happenings.

So, to get started, here are a few pics of the three "bigger" girls at the Fall Festival which was held a couple of weeks ago. It's a fun small town festival with lots of good eats and fun carnival rides.

My New Favorite Drink

I have a new hot drink that I absolutely LOVE!!

Do you like coffee? Do like hot chocolate? Well, try mixing them together and see what you get!!! All I do is take a packet of hot chocolate, put it in my coffee cup, and fill it up with coffee. YUMMO!

I usually drink this in the mid-morning as it is loaded with calories and caffine, but sometimes I do have it as an after dinner treat.

Girls, Girls, Girls

As promised, here are pics of the older three girls. They are growing up so fast. Emily is 8, Claire is just about 6, and Laura is 4. Wow!

A mentor mom from the mom's group I attend lives in the country and raises goats. She graciously invited the girls out to feed the baby goats (just born in Thanksgiving- these pics were taken when the babies were about 3 weeks old). Emily and Laura jumped right in there. Claire was a little more tentative. But, later, she did feed the babies too. They had a blast. The baby goats were too cute!

For a field trip, Emily's 2nd grade class went to see the Nutcracker Ballet at Butler University. Everyone got all dressed up. She was so excited. What a beautiful girl! Notice the doll she's holding has a matching dress- how sweet! (Thanks grandma!)
